2.The difficulty points of mold design
The structure of plastic parts is very complex, and both sides contain multiple bone positions and functional structural features. The two sides of the plastic parts also have a very complex structure and shape. When the slider is directly designed, the upper and lower level of the side rubber will be tightly wrapped on the slider, causing deformation of the plastic parts. Therefore, the slider thimble needs to be designed on the slider.
For such a structure of plastic parts, the side glue area is large and the structure is complex. If necessary, it is necessary to pull the core several times in order to disperse the adhesive force of the plastic position to the slider. In these cases, it is often necessary to design a slider thimble or a secondary core-pulling mechanism. When a large area of plastic parts on the side is easy to stick to the slider, it is often necessary to design more than one slider thimble. In this case, it is necessary to design the slider thimble board. There are also some plastic parts, the long column position on the slider needs to design the slider cylinder, so that the mold structure is more complex.
3. How we design the mold
There are many bone positions on both sides of the printer inner bracket products, and the shape characteristics are complex. It is difficult to distinguish which side is left front and which side is left back by simply comparing the front and back packing forces.
Plastic parts on the front and back of the clamping force is very large. As shown in Figure 1, there are 31 circular arc bone positions on the top surface of the plastic parts, and the paper surface must be smooth. Printer parts have general technical requirements for the paper surface, that is, there shall be no insert clamping, thimble marks and gate marks on this surface. The paper surface is generally the appearance of the surface, in order to reduce the surface and paper contact area, paper movement to reduce resistance. The paper surface is usually designed with multiple parallel bone positions, and the top of the bone position needs to be smooth. Because the bone of the paper is very deep and the exhaust of the molten plastic is poor when it flows, it is necessary to cut multiple inserts. The cutting of inserts is shown in Figure 4. Unlike ordinary inserts, inserts can not be made in the center of the paper surface bone position, to avoid the impact of clamping wire on the paper flow.
The size of the plastic parts is large, the cavity layout of the mold design is 1 out of 1, the gate of the mold is a point gate, and the gate is fed at 6 points. The ejection of plastic parts has oblique ejection and thimble ejection. The side that passes through the paper is the surface in the printer and cannot be designed for thimbles. The thimble can only be designed on the other side. Since THERE IS a thimble at the bottom of the slider, the die must be designed with a first reset device to ensure that the thimble plate returns in time.
