2. Technical analyze for mold design:
The two ends of the ink cartridge of this printer respectively have a large area of vertical plastic positions, and on this large surface, there are structural elements such as stepped through holes and raised undercut, and it is necessary to design the slider core. There is also an inverted mold on the top side of one end, and a small slider core needs to be designed. There are two bone positions on the inner side near the two ends, and there are lateral opening grooves on them. It is necessary to design the inner slider core
3. Difficulty of this part in mold design and during injection
The vertical glue area at both ends of the plastic part is large, and there are structural elements such as column position, step hole and bone position, so the tightening force for the slider is large, and when the slider moves during mold opening, the plastic part will stick The slider, forcibly opening the mold will cause the plastic part to be stretched and deformed. Therefore, a thimble must be designed on the slider. When the mold is opened, the ejector pin of the slider presses against the plastic part, so that the slider can be demolded smoothly. The number and position of the slider thimbles are determined according to the shape and structure of the plastic parts and the size of the wrapping force. The structure of the slider thimble is shown in the 3D diagram, and each slider is designed with 2 slider thimbles
