As we know for pen, usually, we have two very bad experience in our daily life using a pen.
- The role get deformed, so that the top clip cannot be switched smoothly, and sometimes, stopped switch;
- The upper role inside screw thread cannot match the down outside screw thread very well, it cause the pen core is loose and always cannot work well.
So what caused the above two problems? Our engineer gave us analysis as below:
- The gate point problem. You see, the role of the pen is quite long always, and in order to make the cost for the shell as low as possible, customer will require us to make 16 cavity or 20 cavity. So we should make sure that the gate system can guarantee each cavity has plastic glue flow during injection at the minimum time. Otherwise, if the glue cannot flow smoothly, then some cavity will lack of plastic glue and pens shell cannot be made uniformly.
- Another key point is about the water channel system design. Water channel system should guarantee the temperature of each cavity and make the plastic glue to get hot enough and flow in the fastest way.
